*    Cooking class, yay. *    Song & Sand & Sidewalk Angels. Singer/songwriter Rob Thomas brings to Red Rock's "Sandbar" 1) his pop rock tunes that have fueled sales of 80 million albums, and 2) also good deeds, as this concert will benefit the Sidewalk Angels Foundation. *    Two great ways to fete dad with four-course feasts. Tao at the Venetian sets the tone for the goodies to come with an opener offering either Kobe beef potstickers or crispy Thai Maine lobster followed by steak and seafood options and concluding with apple crisp with streusel and caramel or Kabuki chocolate cake - meanwhile Lavo at Palazzo sets the table with oysters, pasta, chicken and steak choices, leading to a big finish of triple hot fudge sundae or bananas with dulce de leche ice cream. *    New place, legendary entertainment. Electronic pop phenom Devo takes the stage at the recently debuted Crown Theater inside the Rio, and likely with some old favorites from decades of hits and as well selections from the new release, "Something for Everybody." *    FOFI. Which is to say food out/food in where mega-talented chef Kerry Simon is concerned. *    Where to find beauty in Las Vegas. Lots of places, really, but for the personal kind check out Oleksandra Spa & Salon at Treasure Island, the recent recipient of the International Five Star Diamond Award from the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences. *    The Sinatra experience.
